My kids and I love reading this book together! Great for them to understand there are children all over the world who believe in Jesus.
I just bought my second copy, this one to give to a friend. I love the artwork in the book and the message for children--that other children all over the world believe in and feel about Jesus the same way they do, even if the specifics of their worship are different.
This book is such a beautiful reminder that there are members of the church around the world who are trying to follow the Savior. The text and artwork go together to show us what it would be like to be a child in another part of the world. I love how the message is simple enough for a child to understand, yet powerful enough for all to be moved. I would recommend this book to every family as a great reminder of what it means to follow Jesus. Can't wait for more similar titles from the author and illustrator!
I Believe in Jesus Too is beautifully illustrated and simply stated peek at how familiar aspects of the LDS religion are experienced by children all over the world. Primary-aged children as young as 3 years old will enjoy the glimpses into the lives of other LSD children around the world.
I'm happy to place I Believe in Jesus Too on my children's bookshelf. At three and five years old, I know my two youngest will flip through it again and again, looking at pictures and asking me to read it to them. It's perfect for a Sunday morning or afternoon, or as a bedtime story. It's quick to read so when your child asks for one more story, I Believe in Jesus Too is a great option.
If you are looking for a good picture book for young children that will expand their world view of life and their religion, then I Believe in Jesus Too is one I am happy to recommend.

I Believe in Jesus Too is simply a beautiful book. The words are simple and heartfelt. The Illustrations are realistic, with colors that are bright, crisp, and bold. You truly want to keep looking through the pages, over and over again, because of how striking they are.
The publisher lists this book for children ages 9-12, but I think it works for all Primary aged children 3-12. What a wonderful idea for a book that let's all LDS children know, that regardless of where you live in the world, other children are living the gospel going to church, being baptized,praying, reading the scriptures, just like them, but in different locations and slightly different ways according to their culture. This book can be used at home for Family Home Evening, at church in the classroom,for story time and would make a fabulous present for children from parents or grandparents.
The main thing I loved most about this book,was how happy the children in the book looked. Whether they lived in Kenya or Canada,Tonga or Bolivia, they all had a peaceful look about them as they are taught that Jesus loves them, as they learn to believe in him. All children will be delighted to own this book. I can see them coming back, again and again, to have this book read to them. We definitely need more books like this that share the gospel message in such a simple and appealing way.
Wonderful book. The children love it! It teaches my children how the gospel is truly throughout the entire world. A great learning tool.
